I also wanted to show off this really fun Advent calendar we found at the Lego store! I was thinking that there was just a lego piece for every day that came together at the end. BUT, there is a figure for something complete for each day! How neat is that! So far we have a snowman and a firefighter!

2 of 25!
Today's special activity was to make some pumpkin bread for our wonderful neighbors who started their Hanukkah celebration. Luke and I got up early and started the baking process and then the three of us delivered it after lunch! I was excited about the opportunity to teach the boys that there are other faiths and lots of other holdiays. We picked up a book at the library that I thought did a great job telling the story of the purpose of the candles and the reason for the celebration itself. Luke, being a bit young to really understand, was just excited to take the bread to our friends. Logan really listened to the book and asked a lot of questions. He was also very excited about taking the bread and being able to tell them Happy Hanukkah!
